Alan,

I already know that and I'm not accessing a database through a mapped drive here. I'm accessing a database located on the local hard drive. I just said that when there is drive mapped and this drive become the default folder (in the program instance), it change the behaviour of Firebird.

So, thank you for your answer anyway.

(Note that we are using Interbase and Firebird for over 10 years now. We have made several tests here before posting this question. So, I still affirm that there is something strange there... :-)
