Hi,
I have taken the gfix-switch (sweep and commit all transactions). After that
I could backup and restore the database and it was fine!
Can I pack the database without restore? Is there a trick in
monitoring-tables to fix the hanging transaction?
Thanks.

Hello again,
now, I have a little problem. I have tested some procedures with a separate
table named "test". I would now delete this table. But the table is in use.
I cannot view and display the data from this table. (ibexpert hangs after
request.
Can I manually delete the request in the monitoring tables? The database has
now a size of 4 gigabyte. Without the test-table only a few megabytes.
Thanks again for your help.
Regards
Olaf
