By "old client" I assume you are referring the client DLL. If I'm right, do you mean fbclient.dll. Does your suggestion still apply if I'm working on the server as "localhost"?

BTW, I have gotten this kind of message on my laptop as well (as localhost). However, most of the time it gives me a message more like Paul showed in his previous posting. If it continues, I will try to identify the functions that result in "unfilled" messages. Lord knows I make enough mistakes to test them:-|
