Fortunately, Karol gave me a wonderful solution that was really simple. I say fortunately because my application will be widely distributed to environments where I have no control. Since I program in Delphi, I would hate to think that I would have to assure the installation of a MS C library just to assure that my application wouldn't break.

I appreciate your suggestion, anyway. It's always good to get more insight into this wonderful world we live in. :}
