It's not a Firebird issue but a glibc 2.5 bug that is known to be fixed in glibc 2.7.

We don't publish anything "bogus" if we can avoid it. On the other hand, people would be pointed straight back at that message if they tried to report a bug with events and hadn't done the right thing about the glibc libraries.
