Windows trusted authentication is only used if configured in
firebird.conf properly (mixed or trusted) AND if the user name is
omitted when connecting to the database. If you provide a user name,
then the native Firebird authentication is used.

SYSDBA is shown, if either SYSDBA or a Windows user with administrative
priviliges is connecting.
