You might also need to take into consideration that Forced Writes did not work AT ALL on Linux in releases prior to v.2.0.4 - even if it *was* set on using gfix. (Tracker ticket CORE-1476). This would be an issue for you if you have any Linux deployment still running under an older server.

Fixed in v.2.0.4 and during v.2.1 betas.
