Sounds like the database is shutdown.

Try (well, try it on a copy first - I've never used gfix -o myself, so although I believe it is safe, don't trust my advice on any production database)

gfix -o <databasename>

to bring it back online.

Subject: [firebird-support] FB 2.5 database allow only one connection to SYSDBA

Hi,

On my PC, I have fb2.5 Super Server installed. Only one of many databases allows only one connection to SYSDBA at a time. Even with IBExpert, I expience the same problem. All the other databases do allow multiple simultaneous connecetions.

User SYSDBA has 'Grant to All WITH GRANT option' on all objects.

Has anyone advice about how to solve the problem?

Regards,

Nols Smit
