I certainly noticed the restore speed improvement. But loading an
application didn't appear much different. Although, the server in question
is quite a bit more remote to the application PC than it was before. I'll
check on performance running the app on the 64bit server vs the same on the
32 bit server.
Mind you, if the delivery is the same speed but allows the server to be more
remote, then that's not bad either. I'm being pushed into virtual hosting
with this client and there's no way to get the virtual environments close to
the users. Thankfully their bandwidth is the best you can currently get
here.
