I have an app that uses Firebird written in Delphi for Linux, and I'd like to get it to work under Wine myself since I moved entirely over to Ubuntu from Windows last year, and don't want to be running it under VirtualBox all the time. I have some other apps that seem to do ok with Wine, but I can't find a general 'science' about why an app will or will not work under Wine. Just wondering if the common denominator is FBCLIENT and maybe I have to do something special to use it under Wine?
