Out of interest, did you do anything 'special' to get your app to work under Wine in Linux, other than just running the executable from the command line with WINE .... ? I have an app that uses Firebird written in Delphi for Linux, and I'd like to get it to work under Wine myself since I moved entirely over to Ubuntu from Windows last year, and don't want to be running it under VirtualBox all the time. I have some other apps that seem to do ok with Wine, but I can't find a general 'science' about why an app will or will not work under Wine. Just wondering if the common denominator is FBCLIENT and maybe I have to do something special to use it under Wine?
