Helen, thanks for the fast answer (that's why I *never* would shoot the editor ;-) )

I was wondering why I haven't stumbled over this problem before and therefore made some additional tests. It seems that on CS, which is the mayority of our instalations, the shutdown works as expected (tested again with version 2.1.3).
