Well, I'm running a gstat on the largest table (regarding record count).
I'll post an answer tomorrow.

The next largest table has an å in the identifier so I've failed to
produce a gstat command line that works. I'd appreciate any helpful
suggestions regarding that issue. (Windows command prompt, DB default
charset = UTF8).

Running gstat on the entire DB seems less than optimal at this point.
