I manage a self-storage facility and it is a management software called QuikStor that apparently uses Firebird as their DB. It's very quick at retrieving records and sorting our client DB, granted our DB is pretty small (2,600 records), but it is much faster than our previous product (TaskMaster) which uses MS Access.
