I suspect this may be a problem with 'text conversion' between the wiki pages
and the raw files, some text combinations control 'style' rather than being
displayed, and this often causies a few problems when putting raw text onto the
page. But I'm not sure that this isn't an area that has evolved over time, the
wiki page is now a couple of years old, while the 2.5 release notes are the
current state of affairs? In any case, it looks like the wiki page needs
'tweaking' :)
