Great, all works fine now.
Just one further question.
I find it a little bit uncomfortable to install firebird on linux compared to windows.
In windows I prefere the zip file installation, so I can prepare a complete installation with config files that fit my needs.
Thean I just copy the complete directory tree to the program folder and start the firebird server as application.
In Linux firebird is split to so many different places. That makes it difficult for me to keep the overview to it. Especially when making modifications or making an update.
Is there a way to just copy the directory structury of firebird to a directory like in windows and then just start the firebird server?
