Related to this topic. It seems, that between FB 2.0.1 and FB 2.0.5 has changed logic of automatic prefixing Global\
(isTerminalServices replaced by isGlobalKernelPrefix in utils.cpp:
before: if OSVER>=Win2000 then "add prefix"
now: we also check "SeCreateGlobalPrivilege"
)
But now I have question: why on Vista SP1 I can not connect using XNET, without adding explicitly IpcName=Global\FIREBIRD ?
(Firebird is running under Administrator acount, also I checked LocalSystem without success)
