Anybody have any ideas? I am also in the process of setting up a new 64-bit Firebird server on another (separate) 64-bit server. I failed to mention in the original post that both the 64-bit servers and the existing 32-bit servers are all virtual machines running on VMWare ESX. Firebird servers and BI servers all in separate VMs - not sure if they are on the same physical box or not. I have never had a problem with the original 32-bit setup being able to From BI to FB via ODBC.

I am trying to set up the Firebird ODBC driver, but no matter what combination of things I try, when I try "Test Connection" from the Firebird ODBC Setup control panel on the 64-bit box, I get the error message in the subject line immediately. The Firebird DB is also on a Win 2003 server, but it is still running on a 32-bit machine. Firebird SS version 2.0.1.12855. Both machines are running on the same domain, the 64-bit machine is brand new and only has the new QlikView 9.0 64-bit Server and Publisher running on it.

On the 64-bit Bi machine, I have tried using the same ODBC driver we have installed on the 32-bit machine (v1.02.00.69), the newer 64 & 32-bit versions, all with the same result. I have also tried every combination of pth notation I could find documented in the ODBC help, as well as a few others that I made up on the fly with the exact same result.
