Hi,
Please make a simple test case and try to connect to the database on the
server itself and use local connection.
An alias example: MYALIAS = D:\MYDIR\MYDB.FDB
If the connection established try from the client too. If not working
you have a firewall(,etc.) problem.
Which Firebird version and which Firebird server version (SS, CS ,
Embedded) used? You used the official installer?
