Wrong question to ask!

Just because Firebird can't do something, don't assume others can't.

There are a number of database engines which provide functionality which
allows them to connect to other engines and execute statements/etc.
Oracle has had this feature for several years.

Work is already underway in Firebird to add this functionality to a
future release.
