I know it's not the case for now, but extending execute statement to
accept ODBC connection string for external access could be a great feature
I don't know if something like that could be done with unix servers

of course, in that case, sql should be external server compliant (and
may be not analyzed at all by fb, and so limited in features as
parameters for example)

Do you something is planned that way ?
