you seem to be implying that Firebird SHOULD provide mdb access in the same
way that Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc does... (not)?
Firebird is a database server (just tweeking the grey cells a little). It
stores and brokers access to data in it's own proprietary storage disk
format.
Was there some expectation that it sould also talk to a myriad of other
database formats?
