Most of this discussion has been about user data security,
the article linked is about meta-data security. There are
important distinctions... some subtle and some blatant.

One of the biggest is that with user data security we assume
that there are at least some authorised users that need to
be able access the secured data. This is very different to
to trying to hiding meta-data from all authorised users.
