Firebird 1.5.5 superserver (win32) installed on Vista.

I have tried "Global\FirebirdIPI" and "global\FirebirdIPI" but both doesn't work.

A strange problem I found is when I turn on IpcName in firebird.conf, the firebird running as application (fbserver -a) will always prompt "unavailable database" using local protocol.

If the IpcName is turn off, firebird running as application works using local protocol.

Please be aware that this thread is discussing about Firebird 1.5 on vista (not Firebird 2)
