1 - Why are you running v1.5.x, the latest version is v2.1.x (v1.5.x is
only getting nominal maintenance update)

2 - What errors are in the Firebird log file?

3 - Have you reviewed the security settings in the firebird.conf file?

4 - Are you aware that Vista limits access to files in the "Program
Files" folders (even with UAC disabled)?
