However it is from 2006, so I don't know what compatibility it has with Firebird 2.x
According to this article (part of the Server 2008 books online), there is also a OLEDB provider for ODBC included in (or downloadable for) SQL Server 2008 (and as far as my google skills can tell me, also in Server 2005):
