AFAIK, Windows Server 2008 'protects' anything inside <program files> dir
... so -- I'm only guessing here -- but the problem may be access privileges
when you move your app inside <program files>.

Running the app "as administrator" may solve the problem. Another solution
would be changing app folder privileges.
