Hi,
* Firebird 2 superserver (dedicated);
* more than 1 000 000 query every day ;
* SAS hard drive
You didn't mention how many concurrent users you have. If it's a good number
of users and If you have a SMP machine than use Classic instead of SS.
For write intensive applications, if you have the money to, I'd recomend you
a good SAS/RAID controler with on board memory/batery... those are great for
performance and safety.
