Apparently they have an affiliation with the firm that makes the GroupMail product/plugin for Outlook...and they have .gdb files. But your guess is as good as mine....

Anyway, ".gdb" was always just a naming convention...a quarter of a century ago it derived itself from "Groton DataBase", like a lot of things in Firebird and IB starting with "g" or "gd".
