Hi,
I recommend you to read the book "The Firebird eBook: a Reference for
Database Developers"
http://www.ibphoenix.com/main.nfs?a=ibphoenix&page=ibp_firebird_book_electro
nic
I currently read the book "Datenbankprogrammierung mit InterBase" (german
language)
A simple way to connect is odbc.
Good look.
Regards.

Betreff: [firebird-support] New User Resources
Hello,
I've created a database and forms in openoffice.org base, but I need
multi-user support. I've decided to use firebirdsql, but after installing it
on my server (windows xp pro) and trying out IBExpert and FlameRobin, I
realize that I've exceeded my abilities and need to learn more of the
basics.
I'm not sure where I should start? Is there a beginners guide for SQL,
relational databases in general or anything else I should read/learn?
My ultimate goal is to create a basic electronic medical record/soap note
application for my chiropractic practice.
Thanks,
Eoin
