but what do you mean by "little" ?

for my understanding : in raid 0 the data are split across the 2 disks (but i don't know if the data is split accros the 2 disk by "file" or simply by "block of data") and in raid 1 the data are duplicate on 2 disk.

so it's mean than raid 1 or raid 0 must be same speed for read, even more faster in raid 1. for write it's will be more faster in raid 0 (if they mean "block of data" and not "file" of course)

just to know if someone already do a bench of this ?
