The most common reason for this is that your Linux OS has its inbuilt
Firewalls blocking port 3050. I know when we install Fedora it, by default,
blocks the ports that Firebird requires to be available to serve over the
network. If you go into your Network Security settings in CentOS and check
that port 3050 is available to your LAN users. You may also want to try to
run a port scanner on your Windows boxes to see if that port is open and
being published by the CentOS box.
