Speaking of string compression, if I'm not mistaken 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaa'
makes good use of the string compression mechanism when stored. But
what about 'éééééééééééééé' stored in UTF8? Does the string
compression still makes its magic or is it killed by the encoding?

I promise, this is my last utf8 question. (Today.)
