I have to wonder why you would use the interbase ODBC driver at all when
connecting to Firebird. Firebird has its own ODBC driver.
But since 2.1 now has an improved protocol, I would definitely suggest using
the FB ODBC driver in liue of the Interbase one.
try it and see if there's a difference.
