IBLMPump allows you to purge log data into a separate database either
timer-based or event-based, thus purging can happen nearly in real time.

You can even set up a hot-standby environment with our toolset.

But, the command-line tools IBLM addons like IBLMPump are Windows
command-line tools. There is no Linux version of these tools available.
Although, you can run these tools on a Windows box and connect to the
Firebird database on Linux remotely.

IBReplicator from IBPhoenix has a native Linux version of there
replication suite available.
