So far I tested in Interbase client server environment ver. 7.5.1,
IBExpert PE can make remote connection.

The problem with the connection is also occurs when I do test
connection with IBX object IBDatabase, base on information posted from
expert should be no problem using ibx object with firebird, but I
don't know if there is any changing with version 2.0.3
