Hi,

Finally found the mistake! In my php app got the ISO-8859-1 tag in all
html pages, but the web server (apache2) bypass this tag and send
pages in utf8 mode by configuration. I was confused because in all
places where the right charset, but looking at character encoding in
the web browse I noticed the utf8 encoding were used!!

So is not a firebid problem, not flameborin and not php. Was the web
server using utf8 encoding.


Well, sorry about my confusing, this post is more suitable in
firebird-php group at end.
