Hi, Norman.
I use BDS, so I wrote an object in C++ that uses the Firebird C API.
I can give you an overview of what I did, and give you some hints about how to make it better (since I generally schedule my own time, I have a plan to make some structural changes soon). I thin that would be better offline rather than spamming the world with it.
Greets.
Kurt.

Minor finger problem there, Kurt. What wrapper did you use to interface with
the DLL? I know of one written in Delphi 6, otherwise one has to use the C
wrapper.

Norman McFarlane

If you plan to sue them, I suggest writing the custom classes that use the
fbclient.dll.
That's what I did...the writing, not the suing... ;)
