All the firebird lists are moderated, so if you have not posted to that
list before, messages are held until you get approved. This cuts out a
LOT of crap but it does mean that some initial posts can be delayed
until a moderator wakes up. Since I'm not down as a moderator on
firebird-general I can't check for you I just help moderate some of the
other lists.
