Tryed that using tarballs for 1.5 and 2.1 and could not get to install on a
'custom' path. I've changed path inside scripts (all over) and still could
not get it to work. As far as I can see the only way to acomplish that is
doing everything manually (extracting buildroot files, creating folders,
copying to dest locations, and so on)

Do you have any experience 'easyer' than that?
