Good catch, Nige! But "good for Firebird"? It appears they are using IB 6.0 (God forbid!!) It looks like a problem that's only going to affect users with dial-up modems, since their client app doesn't work with any other kind of connection. Dialup connections and a 9-year-old, notoriously bug-ridden, insecure beta database engine...Someone needs to talk to these muppets...Alan?
