*Yesterday* you posted a question about the state of Firebird 2.5 and its implementation of UTF8. Fb 2.5 is an Alpha: this means it is outside the scope of this forum. Please read the list rules. If you have a question about an alpha, ask in firebird-devel.

However, the OP *did* say that he used the standard configuration. That includes the default CpuAffinity setting (single CPU).
