Best discussed on firebird-general ;)
But it's now 9 years since the code base split, and while Codegear can see all
the Firebird codebase I don't think they benefit too much from that fact. Why
would I pay for licenses when I can just install Firebird? Security is a
possible requirement, those who need it have better options with Firebird, and
all the different additions are only available because the 'full' license is
too much ;)
