yes I'm using BLOB but not that much. 1/500 transaction are BLOBs
firebird will release the memory just when i disconnect !!!!

From my recent experience with something similar:
- are you using BLOBs anywhere in this process?
- is the memory released only when you disconnect, or also when you commit or
rollback?
