Well I think you're looking for a tutorial about using SQL databases.

I think you can't find a firebird specific introduction in SQL.

If you find something I'd be interested in as I've just started a new
piece of documentation for firebird doc project, wich might cover your
needs... If something like this exists, I can do other parts of
documentation...
