Yeah, I noticed that the 2.0 beta version seemingly has no installation
package. I haven't researched it, yet, but it seemed it was a "figure it
out yourself" installation . . .

Hi, I used that "beta" version without any problems with Firebird 1.5
Anyway, for driver to work with Firebird 2.1 (current version I work
with) there is a need for LockTimeoutWaitTransactions connection
parameter to be present in connection string or registry DSN.
There is a method to use the driver without any install, by copying
DLLs in app folder.
