context of a transaction, so he needs to learn what he's doing I'm afraid.
ODBC often hides transactions from the developer, so does DotNET, but they
are being implicitly started by the driver and also committed by some
trigger, e.g. close the dataset, or close the connection etc.
In your case, they are being started but not committed.
