And so it should work, with FB 1.5 SS. If it doesn't use the Services API, it might not work with Fb 2+, considering the security changes there. Not that it seems relevant to the OP, since he's using Fb 1.5.

So - did you establish whether it was making a call through the general API or the Services API? (Academic interest only...)
