I just noticed that cross-database queries were mentioned in the 2008
roadmap
(http://www.firebirdsql.org/index.php?op=devel&sub=engine&id=roadmap_2008&nosb=1)
for release 3.0, which is due for alpha later this year (final release
will probably be next year, I'd guess). So there's something for you to
look forward to :-)
