For FlameRobin Mac port we use IBPP library (c++) and wxWidgets for GUI
(uses Carbon).

If you don't mind using Carbon instead of Cocoa, you can download this
empty template project I created.

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/flamerobin/wx_template_fixed.tgz

It enables you to set up an empty wxWidgets project with IBPP library
and all the build files for Windows/Linux/Mac OS X environment. If you
decide to go this way, please join the flamerobin-devel mailing list for
further questions.
