I think classic is the best solution with a windows concurrently app...
in the next version, probably from 2.5 perhaps you will can use
superserver..

Subject: [firebird-support] Classic or Superserver or Embedded

hi
If i have a java app that has multiple threads ( around 30 ) updating
records into the database concurrently, which version of firebird
should i use ?
I am running the app on XP with a dual-core machine and around 3GB of RAM.

Any comments would be appreciated, thanks
